Riverside Community Garden

The Environment Agency, Castleford Riverside Community Group and Groundwork Wakefield are creating a community garden and outdoor teaching space on the north bank of the river which will be easily accessible from the new footbridge.

Designed with the Roman heritage in mind, the space will be used for a number of community activities and by teachers and schoolchildren.
